16th May 2024

May 16th is Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). The purpose of GAAD is to “promote digital accessibility and inclusive design” to enhance online experiences for people with disabilities. Glebe House is fully behind any campaign which helps those with learning disabilities have better online access. It is appropriate that we can announce today that we are committed to buying an online system which will include holding support plans for clients online. This should allow parents, carers and clients to have access to their own support documents when they want to see it rather than them having to request a member of staff to look at the paper copy. This will improve the accessibility and quality of the support and ensure that the information is as current as possible.
